I was a professional organizer for 1 year and I discovered that I hated the hands on part of my business, and I found myself getting behind in the day to day office tasks that needed to get done. I can't seem to get the desire out of my system though. I still get emails for people wanting my services, but I get more excited about sitting down with them to help them formulate plans rather than actually going through their junk. I also still miss the workshops and public speaking I used to do. Should I try to just do these things, and if so, who do I market to in the public speaking sector. My target audience and passion are homemakers (all kinds).

That would be a good idea to help people organize their stuff. You can plan how they should do this and still do your public speaking. However you will more than likely still have to help them organize their stuff. But do it in more of a supervisory capacity instead of getting down in the trenches with them. If they want you to do it for them charge more money for that service as a lot of times they will opt to have you oversee what they are doing than to have to pay more money. But if your passion is speaking then maybe you should look to do that more.
