they hear it, they see it and still they refuse to believe it. i know there is lots of info on each political side to refute anything each of them say and add the media who is biased in one way or another adding their biased comments and it just adds to the confusion. it really doesn't take much research to find the truth out about each party or candidate just a little time. and with whats at stake isn't it worth it?

got_da_scoop - or believe the washington post or cnn or msnbc...your bias is showing thats why your facts are skewed. fox and all the others just promote their own views although i have to say fox isn't nearly as bad as abc or nbc...they are for entertainment purposes only not for actual facts. anyone who bases any decision on any of these alone need not waste anyone's time voting as its a farce.

people would rather believe a TV rather than think for themselves. your right. people a lot of the time dont want the truth. they want the "pink fuzzy bunny" of truth. a nice neat little package that everyone likes to see, hear, feel, and listen to.

200 years ago we would have revolted against our government. now we do nothing. not even running, ourselves, for public office.

How can you know what the truth is? Anything someone tells you might be a lie - even something you see with your own two eyes might be an elaborate set-up. Remeber at school when you thought the smallest thing in the entire universe was an atom? Well turns out that truth was not true at all, there are hundreds of sub-atomic particles. How do you know EVERYTHING you know is not untrue like that? Someone's whole life was a set-up in the film "the Truman show", how do you know life isn't like that?

The ones who listen to my show know what the truth is. I tell them everyday.
Actually I tell them what they want to hear. The formula works.

Good point Mordent. You should always disbelieve what you hear first. Then do research on your own and way the facts, finding the least biased source.
I mean sit back and listen to me and you won't have too;-)

People, on a whole, are not too smart. It is scary that alot of them are even allowed to vote------but, we are a free country, and we must allow them to.

Whoever has the best media coverage will win in the end.
