no it's not time for cowher to go. you need to keep in mind that this is a whole new ball game, litterally, for the steelers. We have a young qb that is working through a lot right now, and they are trying to open up a passing game instead of playing conservative ball with about 20 passes per game. Once this happens and they get all the kinks in this plan worked out they are gonna start winning, and by a lot. Bill Cowher led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a superbowl last year, I'm okay with it if they don't have a repeat, anyone who's not okay with it should stop bitching and go hop on the colts bandwagon .

What are you smoking? You know the Steelers are having injury problems, they aren't playing well-discplined football, and they are having bad luck. It isn't Cowher on the field that keeps fumbling the punts and kick returns. Can't imagine WHY he left Holmes in that long but guess he figured he didn't have much other options. Oh and it's not HIS fault Neil O'Donnel threw the game in the first Superbowl. Come on that game was within three when O'Donnel threw that second INT right to Larry Brown. Last just because he wants to live in Carolina doesn't mean he wants to be the Panthers coach.

Mr. Rooney would NEVER let Bill go. Bill will be begged to come back, even if they are 2-14 at the end of the year. You have no idea, what you are talking about. Pittsburgh doesn't go through coaches. Bill is THE MAN, for the job!

There's no reason for Cowher to go before the end of the season. I agree that his heart's not in it, but leaving before the end of the season would cause too much disruption for the team (think of the media frenzy this would cause), who still needs to sort through their current talent/ roster to determine who they should keep, future draft needs, etc.
Cowher could just start shifting more of his behind-the-scenes responsibilities to Ken Whisenhunt, his current offensive coordinator and likely successor.

If Bill Cowher goes, then you have to fire Lou Pinella, Mack Brown, Pat Riley and Billy Donovan. Seriously, are you smoking crack? One bad year after they win the superbowl? It's not his fault his quarterback thinks he's Evel Knievel. Don't forget about the Patriots after they won the superbowl in 2002. They missed the playoffs, and then won the following 2 superbowls. (seriously, how could you forget that? It wasn't that long ago).

why would you want bill cowher to leave it doesn't make sense he won the superbowl last year for you people but anyway you will all probably get your wish at the end of the season anyway as it has been speculated for awhile that bill cowher will be leaving by season's end but not because he's getting fired he wants to leave

Cowher is still an excellent coach. If we could get rid of Reid I'd welcome him as the Eagles head coach any day!

Yes he's handled Big Ben and his injuries very poorly this season. Watch he'll be at NC State in the next two years ;)

Man, you're pretty impatient there. No, I don't think he should go. Not everything is the coach's fault.
