I gather you are in a relationship and your partner is antagonizing your moral belief system?

Hard choice if you are in love with this person. I can only offer you this bit of personal experience:

I had a very similar situation. I at one time loved this person (Hereafter referred to as "E" for the purposes of this post). But over time, I realized that there were very questionable motives behind many of the actions I was seeing. My love faded and I was left with concern. We were together over 9 years, 7 of those were beautiful, the last 2 were hell-on-earth to me. I am now successful (whereas I wouldn't be if I were still in that relationship), and not in prison. I cannot say the same for E.

You can save yourself the waste of time and future pain if you make sure your partner knows how you feel. If the behavior continues, get out and move on with your life with someone you can admire.

Absolutely, unequivocally, unquestionably NO. Most people simply have no idea how many marriages or other relationships crumble because the people involved (or at least one of them) failed to understand how important really strong differences can become over a period of time. Those two people are going to face situation after situation after situation where their individual thoughts and beliefs are going to color their feelings about how something should be viewed and handled. How in the world are two ;people ever going to make harmonious d ecisions about such things, or tolerate one another's totally different approach to a given issue? It doesn't work, and the files of people like marriage counsellors and divorce lawyers are full to overflowing of the proof of it.

I suppose that greatly depends on what it is that they did. Did they cuss, or killl a small child? There are many levels of morality, and going against something small can/could be overlooked, while something more severe should not be let go. If it truly bothers you deep down, talk to them about it. If they are unwillling to change that about themselves, then you are wasting your time.

If he liked the idea behind them so much that he'll do something as permanent as tattoo them on his body, it leads me to wonder, what kind of person is he?
Maybe you two are heading down different roads.
That said, do you want to stay?

That's WAY to general to say...how much against your morals/beliefs? Is it illegal also? How strongly are you upset by it? Is it a common occurence or was it a mistake/accident/bad judgement?

You'll have to decide for yourself...if you want useful advice, you really need to be more specific.

No. You can not be happy with someone who does not behave the way you want them to. Also, if you are not the same religion, how can you live together? That's if you're dating. If you're married, try to talk to your spouse and expain what's upsetting you.

Yes you should leave! Because if you stay then you approve of that person disrespecting you and you values.
