Its always been a little that way.
Plus, its new producer also produced "Queer As Folk", which probably contributes to it as well.

Sure, it's always been a touch camp. It's almost a carry on style drama. Come to mention it, wouldn't Kenneth Williams have made an hilarious Doctor.
