No, I have some family members that are just the lowest forms of live ever. They have stolen from other family members and lied so much none of us believe a word they say, in fact they are not even invited to any events at all.
Being family has no bearing on how they treated others and you can't excuse someone just because they are related.

I used to always forgive my Aunt.
But no more; she has done me wrong for the last time. I've spent 15 years putting up with her ****, and in March of this year, she burnt the bridge completely down and it will never be rebuilt. It's done, it's over and I haven't spoken one word to her in 9 months.

As for the rest of my family, (on my Mom's side) I would forgive them for anything and everything. My family is very important to me. Other than my Aunt, I speak to everyone on that side of my family.
My Dad's side of the family....I don't talk to any of them. Occasionally, I'll speak to two of my Uncle's. Other than that, no.

Dragon speaks to all her relatives, but she doesn't know if she'd forgive them for everything. She could foresee circumstances where she'd never be able to forgive them, but those are not going to happen, so Dragon is not going to talk about them in any more specific detail.

Yes and yes.
Family is really all we have, unless you have a crappy family!
My family is great, we do lots of stuff together, and I think we all have hurt each other at one point or another, and we always make up.
I am talking extended family also, I hang out with my cousins and second cousins on a regular basis. And my in-laws too....Weird.

I'd forgive them for almost anything. They haven't done something I wouldn't forgive them for. I speak to all of them. The ones i've met anyway.

I speak to all of them but i can't always forgive them. When my dad was dying of cancer last year, my brother who lives a state away was suppose to come to help take care of him. My mom was hoping to see him. He wouldn't come because his wife didn't want to. I speak to him but he keeps hurting my mom just to please his wife. His wife didn't feel like attending my dad's funeral. So he at least came alone.

i think you should forgive your relatives no matter what they do. because they are family, and you can't be mad at your family. i bet you, they forgive you no matter what you do. that's why it's called family.
