I'm not sure about the ball, but it took the bus approximately a half an hour to travel 40 KM. Don't ask me to explain, it just makes sense to me.

for constant speed time = distance/speed
for accleration on slope intial velocity =u=0
final velocity = v= 12m/s
time =t= 4 sec
acc= a= ?
formula v= u+at
or a= (v-u)/t = 3m/s^2
