Yes they are standard size in the US. Not sure about everywhere else. I had my nose pierced for 3 years and could only use a straight, not screw type, jewelry. You may have to shop around.

the shaft of the nose studs are of standard size , you will have to wear that wired one....or you can make the hole of the nose bigger by putting a smaal neem stick or stick of fragrance stick (agarbatti) for couple of weeks but remember the size should neither be too big nor too small so that it can easily get into the hole, apply some petrolleum jelly before putting it.
After 2-3 weeks you can easily able to wear that screwed type one

i'm not too familiar with all the types, but i got a hook one to begin with...the ones where the shaft is straight then there is a flat hook at the end. well, that was a pain to take out and put in. i got rid of that one the day after i got my nose pierced. i've been wearing the L ones. well, they look like the letter L. they are bendable and you can customize it to fit. they are not the most secure, i've lost a few, but they are affordable. usually get 3 to a pack. i like these because they are easy to put in and take out. good luck with they nose studs.

I had a mild blue stud that I enjoyed! I misplaced it nevertheless by using fact it grew to become into merely the type which you bend to maintain in place. Now, I positioned on the variety of stud with a ball on the returned to maintain it from falling out. to respond to your question, i think of it sounds stunning and different from what you mostly see.

ok.. all nose studs are similarly size alike... but what i suggest is to go to like spencers and get the kind that has like a ball on the bottom of it. it stays and its easier to put in annd out. or go to the little stands in the mall they have lots. he didnt help u well it seems...good luck tho

Perhaps you could get a jeweler to make you one, that would be a workable size for you.
Also, you might want to go ahead and spell "that" correctly (instead of 'tat)...I kept getting distracted thinking you were talking about a tattoo.

they are standard but sometimes you can find longer staffs at say hot topic or have one made for you.
otherwise you can use the ones that are curved... they dont fall out and that is what i use... or you can get the kind that are straight with a little ball at the end... i didnt like those.... or just keep looking for what you want.
