How about this:
"I feel that 'man-hating' is an honorable and viable political act, that the oppressed have a right to class-hatred against the class that is oppressing them." -- Robin Morgan, Ms. Magazine Editor
"I claim that rape exists any time sexual intercourse occurs when it has not been initiated by the woman, out of her own genuine affection and desire." -- Robin Morgan
"To call a man an animal is to flatter him; he's a machine, a walking dildo." -- Valerie Solanas, Authoress of the SCUM Manifesto
"Life in this society being, at best, an utter bore and no aspect of society being at all relevant to women, there remains to civic-minded, responsible, thrill-seeking females only to overthrow the government, eliminate the money system, institute complete automation, and destroy the male sex." -- Valerie Solana, SCUM founder (Society for Cutting Up Men.)
"The male is a domestic animal which, if treated with firmness...can be trained to do most things." -- Jilly Cooper, SCUM (Society For Cutting Up Men, started by Valerie Solanas)
"I want to see a man beaten to a bloody pulp with a high-heel shoved in his mouth, like an apple in the mouth of a pig." -- Andrea Dworkin
"Under patriarchy, every woman's son is her potential betrayer and also the inevitable rapist or exploiter of another woman." -- Andrea Dworkin
"Q: People think you are very hostile to men. A: I am." -- Andrea Dworkin
"The annihilation of a woman's personality, individuality, will, character, is prerequisite to male sexuality." -- Andrea Dworkin
"Men love death. In everything they make, they hollow out a central place for death, let its rancid smell contaminate every dimension of whatever still survives. Men especially love murder. In art they celebrate it, and in life they commit it. They embrace murder as if life without it would be devoid of passion, meaning, and action, as if murder were solace, stilling their sobs as they mourn the emptiness and alienation of their lives." -- Andrea Dworkin
"Men are rapists, batterers, plunderers, killers; these same men are religious prophets, poets, heroes, figures of romance, adventure, accomplishment, figures ennobled by tragedy and defeat. Men have claimed the earth, called it 'Her'. Men ruin Her. Men have airplanes, guns, bombs, poisonous gases, weapons so perverse and deadly that they defy any authentically human imagination." -- Andrea Dworkin, Pornography: Men Possessing Women
"Rape is nothing more or less than a conscious process of intimidation by which all men keep all women in a state of fear" -- Susan Brownmiller; Authoress of Against Our Will p.6
"When a woman reaches orgasm with a man she is only collaborating with the patriarchal system, eroticizing her own oppression." -- Sheila Jeffrys
"All sex, even consensual sex between a married couple, is an act of violence perpetrated against a woman." -- Catherine MacKinnon
"The more famous and powerful I get the more power I have to hurt men." -- Sharon Stone; Actress
"The proportion of men must be reduced to and maintained at approximately 10% of the human race." -- Sally Miller Gearhart, in The Future - If There Is One - Is Female.
"If life is to survive on this planet, there must be a decontamination of the Earth. I think this will be accompanied by an evolutionary process that will result in a drastic reduction of the population of males." --Mary Daly, former Professor at Boston College, 2001
"As long as some men use physical force to subjugate females, all men need not. The knowledge that some men do suffices to threaten all women. He can beat or kill the woman he claims to love; he can rape women...he can sexually molest his daughters... THE VAST MAJORITY OF MEN IN THE WORLD DO ONE OR MORE OF THE ABOVE." -- Marilyn French (her emphasis)
"All men are rapists and that's all they are" -- Marilyn French, Authoress; (later, advisoress to Al Gore's Presidential Campaign.)
"I believe that women have a capacity for understanding and compassion which man structurally does not have, does not have it because he cannot have it. He's just incapable of it." -- Barbara Jordan; Former Congresswoman.
"All men are good for is *******, and running over with a truck". Statement made by A University of Maine Feminist Administrator
"In order to raise children with equality, we must take them away from families and communally raise them" (Dr. Mary Jo Bane, feminist and assistant professor of education at Wellesley College, and associate director of the school's Center for Research on Woman).
"The most merciful thing a large family can to do one of its infant members is to kill it." (Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, in "Women and the New Race," p. 67).
"We are, as a sex, infinitely superior to men." -- Elizabeth Cady Stanton
From 'A feminist Dictionary; ed. Kramarae and Triechler, Pandora Press, 1985:
MALE:...represents a variant of or deviation from the category of female. The first males were mutants...the male sex represents a degeneration and deformity of the female.
MAN:...an obsolete life form... an ordinary creature who needs to be watched...a contradictory baby-man...
TESTOSTERONE POISONING: ... 'Until now it has been though that the level of testosterone in men is normal simply because they have it. But if you consider how abnormal their behavior is, then you are led to the hypothesis that almost all men are suffering from "testosterone poisoning."
"We identify the agents of our oppression as men.......ALL MEN HAVE OPPRESSED WOMEN.....We do not need to change ourselves, but to change men......The most slanderous evasion of all is that women can oppress men." --The Redstockings Manifesto
"Men are animals. Don't you think so?" -- Ireen von Wachenfeldt, radical feminist leader in Sweden
If you'd like some more proof that yes, there are sexist, hateful moronic feminists out there, just let me know, and I'll e-mail you.

Radical feminists seek domination of men...not equality. With this agenda in mind, they sell the idea of feminism to other women under the guise of "equality". That's the first lie. Women are already equal...just not equivalent. An apple cannot be an orange no matter how hard it tries. But if a woman can be made to believe she is not "equal", and that the way to achieve "equality" is by doing things that men generally do, then they are indirectly made to feel as if there is something wrong with being just women...which is what they are! That's the second deception. Folks who see this "feminism" for what it really is get labeled as "chauvinists", "anti-feminists" and other names. That's another deception...they are just folks who see things the way they are. That feminism doesn't make good on its promises, doesn't make women happy (but instead makes them miserable), and that it wrecks havoc with the family unit in general. Men should be men and women should be women...and both should be allowed to feel happy about what they are and not sold a truckload about how they need to "do it all by themselves" in order to be "complete". That would equate to an exercise in frustration as nobody can "do it all"...no wonder why so many women are crabby these days.
Look here: http://www.vfa.us/
Then understand that this second wave of feminism was kindled by a small group of openly man-hating lesbians. Research on the web a little and you'll find who they were and what they had to say. It will likely surprise you.

A feminist wants equality for women. They are not men haters, and do not mean to put men down. We all love men. What would life be without them, nothing.
We feel equal rights should be had by both men and women such as jobs, housing, pay, insurance, fairness, work load, education and more.
Feminist deplore male superiority. Women do not like being sterotyped and put in certain roles like: homemaker, wife, little women, mother of my kids, babysitter, etc. No brains, no education, no chance to compete with men.
An example is a dear friend of mine who loves her husband and has been the best wife ever to him (loyal). He has put her down now for 30 years. How? By never asking her to go on business trips with him (she is not smart enough), telling her her job is worthless (not smart enough to get better), telling her she has no education (cant move up in world), telling her she does not matter (he will go on with his important life), telling her that her place is to raise the kids (just a sitter) and clean the home (just a housekeeper), and cook the meals (his personal chef). She has never been included in his powerful life as a politician and business owner. She has been always on the OUTSIDE looking IN. She is sure he has had affairs that he denies. Now 30 years later she is trying to make a break from his abuse and lack of equality. It is hard when you have been sheltered and made to feel worthless. But she will and she will pick up the pieces and move on without him.
This is an example of how women are sterotyped and put into certain roles. Feminist view this as UNACCEPTIBLE.

When radical feminist attacked the scientific method and made alliance with post-modernism and relativism, they condemned themselves to the trash bin of history." Man hating " aside, the conclusions of radical feminism endanger equity feminism. People confuse the two and progress is lost under some of the nonsensical findings of radical feminism. Gender and difference feminism must die if progress towards equality for women is to continue.

Anti-feminists tend to "make things up" to turn others against what they don't understand. Feminists are not men-haters. Well perhaps very few of them might have a bit of misunderstanding towards men.
Feminists fight against misogynism, fight for the rights of women, empower women, educate women, but we rarely hate men.
Misogynism means "women-haters". When women speak up against them, they fight back the best way they know they can. Unintellectual stories, made up, as a means to turn everyone against those who are now standing up against them. They've lost control, so they scream obscenities, derogatory comments, etc., against feminism, because they have fears about "being wrong".
It's the same for an individual woman who makes a stand. She's accused of being a "B*tch". Misogynism prefers women to be silent and obedient. When a woman defies "his rules", he throws a tantrum the best way he knows how. He'll call her a dyke, a lesbian, a b*tch, he'll call her ugly... But really, who's the one behaving ugly? :>
Take to heart, "T's much better to be thought of as a feminist b*tch, than to be a doormat". According to Gloria Steinem, "A woman has two choices. Either she's a feminist, or she's a masochist."
Let them scream their accusations, and agree with them if you want to appease them. This is why the derogatory comments stick! They want to be "right"! They fear most what appears threatening to them. In the past, women were tossed in jail for standing up for their rights. Some were burned at the stake as witches. "LIBERTY" is having the willingness to die for what you believe in. :>
When you speak your mind, they will call you a b*tch! Pat yourself on the back and say, "Thank you, I really worked for that one."

I don't know much about the movement today (I don't watch the news, listen to the radio, read newpapers or listen to the garbage surrounding the substanceless media circuses we refer to as elections anymore. Just pisses me off), but early on in the movement there was quite a bit of none-to-subtle (and factually indefensible) male hating and male-baiting rhetoric and writing.
The idiotic ramblings of Susie Brownmiller and Andrea Dworkin are the first things that come to mind, but there were lots more.
My first wife was a feminist (pretty hard core, but she still loved men), and she was eventually dissillusioned by the sort of things I referred to in the previous paragraphs. Before she was, I attended a few rallies and what not with her, mostly out of curiosity, in the old days (late seventies - we were married when I was 21), and I can tell you from experience that males, even somewhat sympathetic males, were treated like dogshit at those get togethers. Lesbians in Tyrolean hats, black jeans and fruit boots that snarled at them with their eyes, every other woman one met barely being able to get past an introduction before taking him to task for the collective sins of his male forebears and contemporaries, etc.
All of it seems to have been toned down greatly in recent years, and I suppose that has a lot to do with the fact that women have gotten most of the things they were demanding (except for legislative validation of patent nonsense like "Comparable Worth").
And I guess they figured out that you get more accomplished if you don't put the fringe elements in the movement in charge of generating its philosophy, guidelines and sound bytes. And that would explain the heavily moderated tone you observe today.
Someone has already posted a bunch of quotes, so I didn't bother. But even today, I suspect there are still quite a few radical man-hating individuals in the movement, and they just don't stick them in front of the TV cameras as much as they used to.

The term femi-nazis came from Rush Limbaugh, a man who openly mocked out someone suffering from Parkinson's Disease. That's the type of male that believes that intelligent women are a threat to their pea brains.

It is a response by men to put women seeking empowerment in their place. If feminists are seeking changes and challenging the power structure within society, men (the powerful) want to keep their power so they use these myths.

i am a female . I have found feminists to be overly aggressive toward other females. they seem to want to be to masculine. personally i find most women to be assertive without the attitude that feminists seem to exude' no need to insult a man because he opens a door for you or asks if you need help carrying something. i have seen and heard both these scenarios.
