Yes and im sick of people who done see it. If you watch any Packer game you would see he still is one of the elite. He has no receivers and a rookie line protecting him and hes still doing ok. Give him some weapons and he would look just like the 3 time mvp

Yes, but not enough to carry the load himself.
Much like Elway, Favre single-handedly carried teams on his back, with average running games, a few good WRs, but no complete teams. The difference is, Elway had a great line and Terrell Davis running for 2,000 yards.
Ahman Green is fragile, and losing those two Pro Bowl tackles killed Green Bay. The defense is not creating scoring opportunities, so Favre reverts to his old gunslinger ways.
He's good, but the team around him has the worst possible attributes for his style of play.

Maybe, but only on a team where he is surrounded by stars. If he were to move to the Cowboys or Atlanta, perhaps he would be the catalyst that would bring them together for his last Super Bowl run because of the talent he would have around him. The quality that made him great, his willingness to take a risk, is what makes him a liability on a bad team today. when he was on a good team a player would step up & make the play. If not, the defense would put him in a good position where he would be able to just guide them in to score without having to be heroic. Now he has neither, and without them his heroics are lost because he can't do it all by himself. Like every great quarterback he has to have a line to give him time, receivers to get to the ball & backs who can run as well as a defense who can give him the ball in decent field position. Green Bay has none of these things. It's time for Favre to hang it up, wait his 5 & go make his HOF speech. And he needs to do this before he hurts himself and the Packers. Before he gets permanently injured. Or before he goes out as a tragic shadow of who he "used to be". Or before he becomes a whiny has-been who publicly criticizes his teammates (as he has already started to do). I'm not a Green Bay fan, but his personal legacy and the great tradition of the Packers deserves better.

He still almost has it... His elusiveness and arm strength are slightly diminished, so he cant make a lot of the plays he used to. Balls he used to gun between defenders at 90 mphr are now interceptions. What would have been 10 yard scrambles are now sacks. Another factor is he doesnt have playmaking recievers like he once had, that with the combination of the factors listed above is the reason for his play of late.

He is still beetter than some QB's but not many in physical ability. Knowledge of the game he is in the top 5, and I'm a Bears fan.
