Can astrology tell you what's going to happen to you next week? No. But it does tell you about your nature, and give you insight to the things that people may do. Equate it to the moon pulling the waters, causing the tides. Other planetary bodies have a similar effect, though somewhat weaker. The way it pulls, and the effect it causes, determines what attributes are associated with it. Looking at someones Sun sign gives you a very broad description of a person, adn most horroscopes take the current planetary alignment, and determine how it will effect that one set of charachteristics. This is why they are so innacurate. However if you add in a person's ascendant, and moon sign, then see how the THREE would relate to the current planetary positions, you have youself a fairly good guidebook.

Good Luck! :)

I have drawn up birth charts for people and they do seem very accurate. I was born a Capricorn Rat (Year of the Rat) and it was surprising how accurate both the Capricorn and Rat descriptions fit me. Daily and weekly horoscopes? No. They are too general. Even astrologers will tell you to ignore them.

Astrology, when done properly and directed to your exact time and date of birth, as well as location, comes pretty darn close.

It's a hoax. You should read the other horoscopes the next time you read your own. You'll noticed that they're all very vague, and could apply to anyone.

Yes and No.

The same principle as in religion.
It works if you believe its true.
It doesn't work if you don't believe in it.
