The Dr. told her that she cannot hold the baby full term because as soon as her baby starts growing in the womb the bigger it gets, it drops and she loses it. Last week she lost her 3rd baby. They told her there is this surgery she can get to help her carry the baby to full-term does anyone know about this surgery and if it will work for her because she is so depressed?

Well she has only had 3 in the past two years, my friend had 3 in just a year and now she is pregnant for the 4th time with twins and is 28 weeks along, her doctor told her the same thing your cousins doc told her but seeing as my friend was 18 at the time she was in no hurry to get it done but in June she found out she was pregnant again and did not even bother getting excited about it because she new she was going to lose the baby but surprisingly here she is 28 weeks along and she is carrying twins.

Some people it just takes a while for them to carry a baby where others can never do it, it is hard to say exactly what your cousins problem is. My dads friend was never able to get past 2 months of pregnancy till she was I think 36 , she had made it to 6 months when a drunk driver ran into her killing her husband and she lost her baby, it was real sad.

Hi. Sorry to hear that about your cousin. I too have had 4 miscarriages over a 6 year period. I was also told that I would need help in carrying my baby. I have never had anything done, I just gave my body time to relax and prayed.I am currently 6 and a half months pregnant and myself and the baby and doing Great. Your cousin should take some time off from tryin and give her body a chance to rest. If the surgery your taking about is stitching the cervix closed 0r their some shot that can be given. I have heard about Great results. Good Luck to your cousin and I will keep her in my prayers. Don't give up. God will make it happen when the time is right... Best Wishes

My aunt couldn't carry her baby full term either and she had hercervix stitched so that the baby wouldn't come. She now has a beautiful 10 year old daughter. So it does work. I'm not sure if it was painful, but i do know that she was on bedrest after the procedure.

I wish her the best and it is possible.

So very, very sorry to hear this. I found this to be very helpful to me. It's wonderful, and I'm sure can be comforting during this time, but have tissues:
