Haha please don't call yourself "emo"

People who are like that, want to be different to get attention. They dress all black and act like the world hates them just so they can start stuff. It's stupid.

Not all Emo's are that way. Just like grunge and goth kids before them - its a stage. Go find the man that wore black lipstick and a trench coat 6 years ago in high school and I bet you money he isnt wearing it now. Sometimes its not a phase and some kids really are depressed but every generation goes through it - they even have a name for it - its called teen angst.

it relies upon in the event that they are easily emo or in the event that they are purely interest seekers. in the event that they only prefer interest then i'm confident they like it, in the event that they are emo with the aid of fact they are actually not purely suburban center to top type white teenagers with no longer something easily incorrect and that they have got had some adventure to lead them to that way or have real melancholy then being unhappy is purely unhappy for them =(

I think sometimes being depressed might evoke some creative channels for them. For me personally I tend to be a little dark but know the importance of loving and enjoying life.....it's way too short.

Very well put, if I do say so myself.
Personally, I think it is all down to stereotyping. Or maybe they simply are trying to be like their mates. But all this whole "all emos are bisexual" "they're so depressed" "they self harm" etc etc... it's just other people's point of views; they don't know them, they stereotype them.
I hope this is of good use to you. If it isn't, ignore me, I'm talking out of my **** again :D
