I rarely have an orgasm from just sex. Me and my hubby are trying to have a baby and I have been told it's better when you have an orgasm as it produces fluid that the sperm swim through and that the contractions from orgasm create a vacuum sucking the sperm up. Is this true? What can I do if I don't "come" just from sex.

Immediately after he is done. Use your finger or his to finish yourself off. I had heard that orgasm gives you a higher percentage of pregnancy on TLC because of the whole vacuum thing. We tried it and 2nd child was conceived in 2 weeks.

Orgasms make a difference but not a big one. Try tilting your hips and butt up (above the heart) for 5 or 10 minutes after your hubby ejaculates. Also, having sex doggy style can help "make a b-line" route for the sperm to your uterus. Checking for ovulation is very helpful also. You can either use a basil thermometer or those ovulation tests from the drug store.

Good Luck and Happy Trying!!

A orgasm will not get you pregnant, but if you think you are not "wet" enough during sex, try Preseed (which can only be bought on preseed.com). It's a lubercant (like KY jelly) that will help the sperm swim. KY is not good to use as it won't kill the sperm but it will make the sperm stop swimming.

I have had three children and been pregnant 7 times. I never once during conception had an orgasm. Although this makes it more pleasurable physically, just knowing that you are trying to make a child with the person you love and feel secure with is an incredible feeling.

You definitley dont need an orgasm to get pregnant. The sperm will find its way no matter what. I dont ever remember having orgasms with any of the times I got pregnant. They say it helps, but its totally not necessary.

Your getting pregnant has nothing to do with you having an orgasm. Some people never have orgasms and still have become pregnant.

having and orgasm actually increase your odds of conception bu it isnt necessary when you have an orgasm it cause your cervix to contract this enables it ot pull more semen into the mouth of the cervix and therefore increases your likelihood of conceiving.
