I am writting a agrument essay on same sex marriages. i need help finding two more points, if it is for or aginst same sex marriages i don't care. i already have leagal protection.. i need two more... please some one help me:)

For - ability to enter into certain contracts and pre-existing financial instruments jointly

Againest - children raised in such household might not get the benefit of mother / father figures

Againest - is a slippery slope towards legalizing other alternative lifestyles

I'm not sure if your school would allow this, but you could always quote the Bible. I mean, God is against same-sex marriages. Or you could always go with the point that some churches sanction same-sex marriages. Like, for example, there is a church in my town that, although not legally binding, the pastor (a lesbian) will marry gay couples. It doesn't stand up in courts, but it is more of a "church" marriage. Good Luck with your paper!

Here's my debate. I go AGAINST it!: What exactly IS the point of same sex marriage? We were put on earth to marry OPPOSING sex! It's brainless to marry the same sex (especially when you "you-know-what" with the other person)!!!!!!!!!!

WE ALL DO ALOT OF THINGS GOD IS AGAINST AND THEY HAVE NO LESS CHANCE OF GETTING INTO HEAVEN THAN WE DO ON A STANDARDS SCALE WE ARE ALL NOT PERFECT
