I was wondering if you have unprotected sex with your partner while you have an yeast infection. Can he catch something?

Yes, the man can get a yeast infection from the woman. Generally the yeast infection will only affect him on the outside of the penis, but if he has it, and is not treated, as soon as you treatment is over, you can expect it back.

Yes. He can get a yeast infection too. He can get an infection in his penis from vaginal sex or in his mouth from oral sex. You're better off avoiding it, for your sake and for your partners as well. Are you really in the mood for sex while you have a yeast infection? I always found that the medicine made me feel about as sexy as a bag of potatoes.

Often women treat yeast infections w/o success because their male partner has one...so that would make the answer: yes!
