I thinks it's ridiculous. I think the players should be able to express their feelings with out getting thrown out of the game. It's one thing if they are fighting or something.....but if they're just yelling out loud or just plain frustrated....that's no need for a technical foul or being ejected. It's a terrible rule and I wish they would do away with it.

I agree that they need to take measures to cut down the complaining and product bashing of the NBA, but it's kinda gone to extremes lately.

Sheed is a cry baby, so no comment on him.

From what I've seen, it seems to penalize players too often. There are a lot of bad calls made and the officials need to know that they are wrong when this happens. Some of the instances I've seen where this has come into play, the player wasn't in the officials face or delaying the game at all. I don't really like it.

I think it is crazy. Basketball is an emotional game, so telling the players that they are going to get T'd up for showing any emotion at all is rediculous. It takes all of the intensity out of the game and makes it a lot less interesting in my opinion.

I think it's a good thing...players waste so much energy whining and complaining about officiating (and it never helped their cause anyway) instead of playing the game. I'm not saying refs are untouchable, but they deserve more respect than they used to get. I think there should be a system in place for punishing refs for really bad calls though...fines, etc...that's only fair.

Some players whine too much but they always have. Magic, Bird and Oscar are on the all cry-baby team. The league went to far this time.

i think its kinda gay because the players cant complain or theyll get t'd up thats not fair like they had taken away the taunting rule i.e when mutombo would block someone he would wave his finger at them now no one can do that no one can fully react anymore thats one of the gayest rules they put up
