You will need to pass the USMLE exams (US Medical Licensing Examination) before you can be authorized to practice medicine in the USA. This is a lengthy process that also includes approving the university from which you obtained your medical degree. Please check the AMA (American Medical Association) website for more information.

Talk to the state medical governing board in the state you wish to practice, and they will tell you what the requirements are, and whether you need additional training to certified to practice here in the states.

you would have to meet the academic standards of the US as well as pass the licensing exam
