Personal freedoms are by far more important.
If Freedom is eroded for the sake of catching terrorists, then in effect, they've already won.
I would have no problem with the occasonal domestic attack on US soil, as long as US civilians cease to be monitored, arrested or harrassed, here or abroad.
Yes, even if my own family were victims. Freedom has a price; it's usually paid in blood.

We have personal freedoms, because we are protected by our national security. This is why we have to finish the job in Iraq. The terrorists want to get in here in the worst way. without security we won't retain our freedom.
