The die-hard faith fans are gonna say "Heck, yeah, she was joking.....she's way too classy to be a sore loser."
I feel objective enough, since I dont like OR dislike her in any way, to say that the video showed her in a very bad light. I watched her smiling before the announcement was made. (She looks like she really expected to win) She raises her arms---almost to say THANK YOU THANK YOU HERE'S THE WINNER---and then realizes that HER name wasn't announced. OF course she's going to say it was a joke. But why would she do that? I like jokes as much as the next person..........but that doesn't look like a joke. PLUS....where was her smile after she played this JOKE on all of us??????? Usually people continue to smile, or give some indication that they ARE--infact--joking. She didn't.
It looks like Faith HILL has a MOUNTAIN sized ego.

Well, l love all the nominees of Female Vocalist of the year.
But to say WHAT? (disputing the results) is a kind of selfishness, l really respect Faith Hill, but she've won that award way back then and it's nice to see Carrie win it.
lt could be an upset reaction, but to cover the shame, she might said "It's a joke." It's a shock to me Faith did it.
l would rather think Martina could do that thing because Carrie is just her big fan before she made it into american idol and get the title.
But a fan could defeated the idol.
Well, let's see at American Music Awards....Faith, Carrie and Gretchen are now competing for the same title. And l think Carrie would had her victory again, unless Faith could manage to charm the voters.

Joke or no joke she still should apologize for the cloud it left over the award. This is the season for misread jokes, maybe she got it from Kerry.
To me, I think Faith has got some issues other than music, she looks too thin.

No I don't believe that at all. She was smiling beforehand then looked like she was about to have a fit. Of course she is going to play it off as a joke. It's either that or ruin her good name. That's what these celebrities/superstars do when they are caught acting like fools. Deny, have their people come up with a lame excuse, deny some more.

No, I don't believe it was a joke at all. I think she has gotten to the point where she just expects things to be handed to her and she doesn't realize that she really sucks anymore. Yes, she has some good songs but for the most part her work has gone downhill drastically.

I sincerely hope that it WAS a joke, although we will never really know. One would think though, that you would conduct yourself in a more sportsman-like manner with all those cameras around and save the tantrum for home. She (instead of her people) needs to address this matter directly and soon....

Absolutely not! Faith would of been better off owning up to her bad behavior and apologizing for it. Now she just looks like another egotistical celebrity.

No. She was a little to serious. And why would she do a joke like that it is definitely not funny. It just made her look crazy.

No, I do not believe it was a joke, you can see as she moves away from the camera that her expression is less than joking, she looks really pissed.
