Despite the fact that Granholm has been leading in the polls, I'm betting DeVos is going to win. He's been saying "Enough is enough -- it's time for a change" and virtually every Michigan resident I know is agreeing with that statement. To be fair, Granholm was handed a trashcan when she took office, but it has now grown to the size of a dumpster and is overflowing. And don't bet on the Bush-bashing ads about DeVos supporting outsourcing of jobs to have a real impact -- we remember which President signed NAFTA and the China Free Trade Agreement into law (HINT: Wasn't Dubya and wasn't his father either). BOTTOM LINE: Granholm's record shows her to make a bad situation worse, but DeVos' record shows him as a leader who turned a $h!thole of a city into a thriving metropolis that is now the second largest city in the state. When the polls say Granholm is leading, I have to wonder "Who are they polling?" because no one I know has been polled and they're all voting for Dick DeVos...

I wish Devos won. God, I hate Granholm. Her campaign was crap. She is a last-minute decision maker. Just listen to her speak. She is a name dropping, hop on the bandwagon leader without a clue.
We needed a business leader like Devos to convince companies to do business here in Michigan. We have a great workforce and tons of empty buildings (thanks to Granholm).
We Michiganders can tolerate a lot, but not 4 more years of her.
The only thing I wish Devos wouldn't have done was the last commercial near the election about revamping the welfare system. That probably scared 25% of the Detroit voters to death! "Get a job? No way!"

Though I'm voting for DeVos
Granholm will win. She has the union vote and the welfare vote and too many of the rest of us have been trained by the aforementioned groups so we are afraid of successful people.
Mark my words fellow Michiganders, 4 more years of Granholm will equal fewer and fewer jobs and lower and lower property values.
I am afraid there are too many businesses like mine that are either going to go bankrupt or move.
And after you vote for Granholm, go back and ask your boss what is going to happen in the next 4 years. It won't be pretty.

Granholm will win. But the state is filled with hypocritical elitists. The Libertarian candidate, Greg Creswell, is black. So if you believe in Affirmative Action so much, why not vote for him?
Oh wait- he's one of those uppity blacks that won't depend on the government to take care of him.
And yes, I have no doubts when Jenny wins, we will be blown away in 5 years. Blown way way away.
