Didn't she appear on TV at the 2006 CMA awards last night? That is not disappearance.

Shania moved to Switzerland when she got pregnant with her son. She has said that everyone there treats her like she is nothing special, and they leave her alone.

I heard that her husband was from a wierd cult and she was living in Switzerland. Sounds a bit far fetched to me though!
