Is this a safe site for kids? I don't know if it is a co-incidence, but when my niece registered on it using my email address, my yahoo email got a lot of porn images. It has an 'official website' and warns parents, but I am unsure! Sensible comments and advice please!

My 8 year old daughter uses club penguin. She loves it and I loved it so much I bought her a subscribiton. I think it was just a coincedence with the porn.... I haven't had a problem and neither has her email ( I monitor it closely, she's only allowed to use it for her uncle in Iraq). You also have the option of allowing her to chat or only using it in safe chat mode where she has a list of words to pick from to make sentences. I haven't had any problems with it, really my daughter doesn't use the chat because there's just soo much to do with your penguin, like being a secret agent and finding all the clues.... It's a great site!

My grandson loves it , he is going to be ten years old.
I watch him while he is on it , He love it and I like to watch him .
Its a lot of fun. I let him join for $5.95 a month. It is really worth it.
