Good luck...maybe you should have waited until AFTER you got married, since you're engaged anyway...where is your self-control? If he really loves you, he'll stick with you not matter what, if not, it wasn't meant to be. Sorry.

PRAY! 1st time parent jitters are normal by the way; for both mom and dad. Planning to have a baby and the reality that the baby is coming soon, are two different dynamics. It can be overwhelming, so just be understanding and move forward in a healthy and positive way with your pregnancy.

Blessings!

Ok the getting pregnant thing is a two way street, unless he raped you then that's a whole other situation. Ya just go with the flow...taking care of a baby is basic, you feed it, change it, love it, make sure it's safe...there are classes and tons of books. Talk to other parents get their feedback on what they did or didn't do...things they wish they'd done. In all respect it's a little late to be rethinking the baby thing if you're already pregnant.

Perhaps the only thing that you can do is try to talk to him. Maybe he is just scared about all the responsibility of having a child. If you try to talk to him and it really doesn't help much, maybe another family member, or just talk to a councelor or someone like that. Maybe you can talk to your doctor when you have your appointments and they can set something up so he can talk to someone. Hopefully, that's all he needs, just to get some worries and concerns off his chest. Good luck

Ok, howd he go from being your boyfriend yesterday (in your other question) to being your 'husband to be' today? Lol.

Anyhow, he didnt force your legs apart and impregnate you alone. So you need to talk this out together. He probably eventually wanted a baby, doesn't mean right this minute. Explore your options together. Best advice, make this decision TOGETHER if you want to raise a happy child TOGETHER.

It is kind of a tricky question. If he wanted to get you pregnant he should stand up and assume full responsibility.
The baby has not even come yet, can you imagine when he/she really comes?
Sorry if I was harsh on you. I wish you the best of luck!

Tell him that it's to late to be scared, he has a baby on the way and he needs to step it up. No need to be scared just let him now that he'll be a good dad.

Tell him and yourself that it is NORMAL to be scared. And to not give into the "run away" instinct. It'll be alright. But only if he see's it through. If not ,your playing lottery with the kids emotional well being. Be a Man and get on with it.

Most guys get scared when the reality hits them that this is going to happen. He'll be alright once he hears the heartbeat and finds out what it is.
