George Bush and the Republican controlled congress has split this country to a depth it hasn't reached since the civil war. Our children are dying every day because Bush's choice to attack Iraq rather than track down all the perpetrators of 9/11. Bush is neither King nor the chosen of God, no matter how often the Republican congress bows before him and he announces to the world that he is the chosen of God. King James had the Bible rewritten to uphold his belief he was the choice of God. George Bush and his appointees are trying to rewrite the US Constituiion.

I will be happier. Definitely. Safer? No. Because of the Bush legacy it will take a long time to show the world that Americans are good people again. Bush's war mongering has caused hatred all over the world and formed a new breed of Anti-American terrorists. Any new president, Republican or Democrat, will have to have unbelievable diplomatic skills to undo what Bush has done.

No, we won't.
We have not been attacked on our soil since 9/11/01. We are much safer today then we were before.
Also, there were many reasons the Democratic Congress was voted out in the first place. The biggest was taxes, the second was the inability to control spending of all their little causes.
When you do something for your country other than whine about it, you can speak up.

Depends on who is replacement will be in the White House. If it's a moderate Democrat or Republican I'll feel okay. If it's a Liberal we might as well dome the Washington Cathedral and stick a spindle on top.
