Utter Rubbish.

Baby's sex is decided by the sperm which fertilises the egg. A sperm with an X chromosome will produce a girl, a sperm with a Y chromosome will produce a boy.

You cannot control which type of sperm will fertilise an egg unless you have a "designer" baby made in a laboratory.

I can't beleive people still beleive these old wives tales!

There is a way to predetermine the sex of your baby... when you conceieve, in order to have a boy, your vagina must be acidic, to have a girl your vagina must be alkalie.... if you google determining the sex of your baby.. you should get a bunch of websites.... that explain the process to you. And yes a lot of it does have to do with what you eat...
The sperm IS what is the determining factor yes... but the sperm with the cromosome (X) that makes a girl can move better through you if you are alkalie... and the same for the sperm that has the cromosome (Y) but you must be acidic... liek i said look it up on google and you will find more about it... My fiance and i were talking about having a child and I REALLY want a boy first as does he so we are willing to try anything to make that possibility even more possible.

Some scientists say that eating certain foods can determine the sex of a baby, but there is no hard evidence to prove right or wrong.

I have heard of people saying the food can determine, but I guess your partner would have to have been eating it before you have sex and become pregnant, as it is all down to the sperm chromosomes.

No you can not determine the sex of a baby by the food you consume while pregnant. It is all to do witht he genetic make up of the baby and nothing to do with food.

Of course not! That's an "old wives tale". Sperm determines the sex and the only way you will know if you have an ultrasound.

No..the only way to tell a baby before it's born is by ultrasound (which isnt 100% accurate) or by having an amnio..other than that the next sure way to determine the sex is birth.

If you believe that, then that's up to you. As it's been said, it's the genes of both parents that makes a baby what it is, not carrots or a big roast chicken. They come out with something new every day. If I listened to everything I hears Iwouldnt get out of bed, eat, drink, cross the road or even breathe.

No that's not true! I heard that if you have a really round stomach then its a girl and if your stomach goes narrow and points out more then its a boy? But i think they are myths
