The girlfriend of my best friend thought we liked eachother so she ended up verbally attacking me over it and forbidding him to talk to me. I am a wreck but I am stubborn and full of pride so I am having a hard time figuring out how to keep him from turning his back on me... We haven't spoken in about two weeks.

Sounds like she isn't too secure in her relationship..Why should you not be able to talk to your best freind?...Miss Merry Sunshine will just have to get over it ...don't you think so...Nothing wrong with him being freinds with you

Ask him to hang out and talk with him. Tell him to explain to this girl that there is nothing to worry about, if nothing hasn't happened yet then nothing is going to. And what is with him? Friends shouldn't ditch their BFFs for their girlfriends.

you need to tell him how you feel and see if his new girlfriend who would even acuse him of something like that is more important than your friendship and if it is maybe hes not the best friend for you because true friends stick together no matter what and you should remember that.

he obviously don't know the meaning of real friendship. if he turned his back on you to be with his girlfriend instead of explaining to her that you two are just friends, then shame on him. you don't need him. you need a friend who will be there for you, who will stand up for you. don't stoop down to her level though. just let them be and you'll be much happier. good luck
