YOU ARE 100% NORMAL.
The brown discharge is the first sign of your menstrual cycle. You may actually have it again before the actual bleeding starts. Don't be startled - you are about to enter "woman-hood"
The sore breast and crankiness is simply a sign of PMS.
Be sure to go to your mother so she can take you to the store and let you pick out which feminine hygiene product you would prefer to use.
Congrats - you're on your way to growing up!!!

Those can be symptoms of your period. We don't all have text book menstrual cycles. Tender breasts, brown discharge and crankiness can all be signs of menstruation. Also, you are the right age for these things to be starting. If you have never had sex, and you are concerned, you should talk to your parents. They can take you to the doctor to make sure nothing more serious is happening. If you haven't had sex, you have no fear of pregnancy.

My very first couple of periods were brown not red. I think you may have started. Talk to your mom, and she should guide you through the begining.

You are starting to have your period. It often starts out as the
brownish discharge you are speaking of. Don't worry. It's normal.
