SOME technology decreases the quality of life, however MOST does NOT.
Technology is: the alarm clock that woke you up, the hot water you washed with, the fridge that cools your drink, the toaster that cooks your toast, the transport you use to get to work/school/somewhere... I could go on...
That doesn't decrease your quality of life. Medical Care doesn't decrease your quality of life.
Nuclear bombs do.

In general I would have to say no. But it depends on the application of that technology. The fire that heated your water is good, while the one used to burn your house is not. I think the biggest threat to quality of life is not understanding the technology that you are using.

Technology has good and bad effects in people's lives. I think that technology nowadays has destroyed a part of our live and if people continue to use technology so much it will have disastrous effects in the whole world.
