right click on a blank area of the screen (desktop) and left click on properties option on the drop down menu on what opens look on the top for a tab that says settings and click on that towards the bottom left you'll see a slider button you need to move that to the left and click ok try them one notch at a time to get the desired size of screen that you are looking for

If you go to the top of your page and check the view tab you can scroll down to the text size, a small box will come out and you can change it to the size you want. Sometimes if you have a fancy mouse, when you hit the buttons on the side of it, it will automatically increase your text size. If that doesnt help, go to the start button, control panel, appearance and themes, display, appearance tab, then select your font size and save changes. Let me know if this helps.

Yes your problem, from what you have described anyway sounds like your resolution. Right click on your desktop and select properties. Then go to the settings tab and adjust the slider to a resolution you like better. Once you click apply it will test your settings. If you can see the prompt asking you if you like the settings. If you do like it, select yes and you are all set.
