It rotates around its axis every 23 hours and 56 minutes. The circumference of the equator is 40,075 km. That means the equator is moving at a speed of 1674 km/h. The atmosphere moves with the ground, which is why we're not blasted into space by 1000 mph winds.

It revolves around the Sun every 365.24 days ata radius of about 150 million kilometres. That makes its orbital speed 108,000 km/h.

The earth is 21600 nautical miles in circumference at the equator, it rotates as near as makes no difference every 24 hours, therefore the speed of rotation at the equator is 900 nautical miles per hour.

A nautical mile is 6080 feet, so to convert NM to statute miles simply use how many feet there are in a mile where you live, or kilometres if necessary.

i assume your mean "speed"? it's 25 thousand miles around the earth. it rotates every 24 hours. so i think it's moving about 1,050 miles per hour, give or take. sometimes it does not feel that windy to me, lol...ever wonder why we just don't blow away?
