ugh yes. i really dont like to see christmas stuff until after tday. i mean i've seen stockings out pre-halloween. by stretching it out, they make christmas time less special and when christmas finally comes, you're sick of it all. :(

I'm in Kansas City, and we have two radio stations that compete with each other to see who gets Christmas music on first. They kept moving each other up until it was way out of hand. They both agreed to not start Christmas music until mid November or something like that. Finally some rock station (as a joke) said they switched formats to light rock and started playing Christmas music Nov. 1 -- and the other two stations freaked out and both put on their Christmas music right away.
Okay, that sounded lame. But it was really funny.

There are two lite rock stations in my area that are playing Christmas music on the weekends now. But only on weekends.

WLIT the lite 93.9 in Chicago has been playing Christmas music 24/7 since Nov. 2nd. I love it. Gets me all in the mood for the upcoming season.

My local station (97.1 WASH) plays all Christmas, all the time from Thanksgiving to New Year's. That would be FANTASTIC... but they play the same music constantly...

Sorry to hear that. But no, thank God. I used to spend a couple weeks around thanksgiving and such with my dad and his new wife is Christmas obsessed. And she starts at Thanksgiving with her 24/7 nonstop freakin Christmas songs, shows, movies, etc....Thank God im going back to NC for Thanksgiving this year.

Yes, here in California one of the stations i know is playing, and I'm getting annoyed.I think they should wait untill its at least two weeks before christmas .
