Gotta love the NJ weather. You never know what you are going to get, it's a craps shoot. One winter we may not have snow till Feb and it will melt by the end of the week, another winter will start in October. I've seen the thermometer at 30 degrees below 0 and 45 degrees above 0 in the same month, different years. Generally winters are on the mild side, a few snowstorms, freezing every night and above freezing some times during the day to help melt the snow. We do get big blizzards with up to two feet of snow sometimes, but that is the exception to the rule.

I live in eastern PA(i guess it's close enough)

We usually get 1 big storm a year that dumps 12 inches or more of snow. And last year we had a snow storm that dumped 24" of snow, kids get off from school, and we get to stay home from work, but, we have to clean out the drive way which is a pain in the neck...lol..

Last February, we had a record warm month, so you really don't know what to expect.

i climbed poles there for many years. it gets very cold and windy. off the ocean and off the delaware river. the wind always comes from the n.w. and most winters get a good amount of snow. i've seen 15" about 3 times, many 10" and 11" and many less. so the answer is (YES)
