Going for a girls weekend. Staying on Nicollet Sat night. Any recommendations for a fun restaurant close, probably around $20 a meal, and prefer a non-chain.

Minneapolis rules! Two website suggestions: citypages.com = great restaurant reviews, thriftyhipster.com = happy hours, late night deals.
Downtown, I would pick Solera all the way. Very trendy and really good Tapas, great for a girls night where people like to share! On Nicollet, Sawatdee might be your best bet for both good food and cheap(ish) prices.

The 112 Eatery is really good and so is Buca but I think that's a chain restaurant.
