I want to buy my girlfriend lots of nice clothes for Christmas. Can anyone suggest some places for me to try that aren't too expensive, but have a good reputation and name. High street/on-line shops - whatever - any suggestions welcome. Thks :o)

I'd take a sneaky peek inside the labels of the clothes she already owns, as this should give you an idea of which shops she likes and what her taste is.

Clothes are a very personal taste, but this should give you some clues.

Sounds like she's a lucky girl to have someone that's prepared to put the thought in

Good Luck!

p.s. a lot of the shops mentioned above are not in the UK, so don't be misled !

OK I don't really know what your idea of too expensive is, but when it comes to the ladies high street, I think Warehouse and Oasis are the nicest places to buy a gift. Their stuff is very nice quality, and classy. Slightly more expensive than Topshop and Miss Selfridge but has a luxurious feel to it.

It depends really what sort of clothes your girlfriend likes and how old she is.

Top Shop is great for quite trendy / stylish clothes. Its not too expensive but there stuff does tend to go out of fashion quite quickly.

Bay Trading is a personal favourite of mine. They have a great selection of clothes for either casual, work or going out and its quite reasonably prices. They have some really classic styles and a great selection of shoes and matching bags.

Warehouse is great too although a bit more expensive but they have some beautiful silk tops in there and jeans.

New Look is a cheaper option but there clothes don't last very long. However, in my opinion, they have the best selection of shoes on the high street.

www.asos.com is a great on line shop for clothes, jewelry and bags or shoes. They have remakes of designer clothes worn by celebrities so you could get her something as worn by her favourite celeb. They have a great range of everything and its definitely worth a look.

Hope this helps!

Topshop is always a winner and not too expensive. Or what about one the Designers at Debenhams ranges - then she'll have a designer outfit without you having to pay thousands for it.

Bless you, what a lovely present!

Primark is a good bet, you'll be able to get loads in there quite reasonably. But if you think it'll be too cheap, try H&M. They are GREAT for trendy stuff that's reasonably priced. Lots of £4.99 vest tops and the like. Lingerie sets for £10, jackets for £30, that sort of thing. And plenty of accessories like jewellery, hair stuff and bags for stocking fillers too! You're bound to find lots in there. Their website's not very good, you're better off going instore. Can I come with you??

Debenhams and TK Maxx are both designer stores but have chaper prices. Genius! I love both of them.
