If you choose looks or personality, what specific traits do you look for.
For instance, I choose personality. I like someone with a sense of humor, someone who is humble, a hardworker, goal oriented, and honest. If a guy has these qualities, that makes him attractive to me.

Definitely personality. If they don't have a personality their not very attractive. Looks are a plus, but as you age your appearance change and not so much of your personality changes. Sure people change over time, but what catches my attention is the way someone is, not how they look.

I have to be initially attracted to the person, then as I get to know him personality is the thing that keeps me there. He needs to have a sense of humor and I have to be able to rely on him.

Personality. Funny,charming,caring,honesty,l a y e d- back-all come before looks. Looks can fade or change over time and you have to be attracted to the person not the shell. Even the most beautiful/handsome person can be the most aful you have ever met.

Welll.... you'll hardly see someone across a room at a party and go, WOW, what a personality!
But once you've met them, personality is what makes them a keeper. I like smart, funny people, who know when they're being dumb and just enjoy the moment!
My husband is a cute clown who always has a pun. We trade funny words and phrases a lot, topping each other's latest till we hurt from laughing!

Initially, before I get to know them, looks. Personality is for the long term though.
I've known extremely attractive women who completely turned me off with their personalities. I've know "plainer" women who I was really into because of their personalities.
