I heard someone over 90 say that she had no way of getting from her senior citizen home to the poll booth.
But then before I could tell her about getting a ride from a candidate's aides she realized that the home runs a shuttle so even that one evaporated as a reason.

I'm with the first guy- valleybro..the red votes will surely devour my little ol' vote. But I don't follow the sheeple on many of the issues, and it is somehow worth it for someone to know that. Every person has a voice, and we have the right, which many fought and died for, to use that voice by voting.

There should be no excuse. Vote, because every vote does count.

"It's against my religion" is the best excuse I've ever heard. You can't very well argue with a person who uses that as an excuse for anything.

The best REASON is, "No candidate was worthy of my vote!"
However, the best excuse would be some outrageous fantasy... unless you thought their reason were false.

I had to get off work to go up to my kid's school to beat them for acting up, so I'm too tired to deal with the poll volunteers.
