I have seen movie V for Vendetta and loved it very much. I would like to know what does the letter V stand for? What is V´s real name? Does anyone know?

The Roman numeral V means 5 which is the room number V walks out of when the building is burning. He might have chosen it because of this as well as the fact that v is the first letter in vendetta.

Guy fawlkes...i think dont quote on this... he was supposed to be the one who set up the gun powder plot to blow up the houses of parliment....not sure what the V stands for...could be Vendetta...it is a good film though.

The 'v' stands for the roman number 5.
The doctors would mark the doors of the people used for experiments with roman numbers.

The V satnds for his name and I dont think anyone knows what his real name is in the movie you might want to ask a movie director.
