2x+4(0)=-8
2x+0=-8
x=-4

if x=0

2(0)+4y=-8
0+4y=-8
y=-2

with this you only have 2 options
x =1, y=-1
x=-1, y=1
unless you bring -8 to the other side and then its a long process.

2x + 4y = -8
4y = -2x -8
*y = -1/2x - 2*

do same for x but both x and y =infinity

2x+4y=-8
2(x+2y)=-8
dividing by 2
(x+2y)=-4
x+2y+4=0
2y=-x-4
sub x=0,y=-2
x=1,y=-3/2
x=2 y=-1
x=4 y=0
