Well, if you are using a dial-up modem, and are using extra codes, like for say connecting via long distance etc.. just seperate the codes via a `,' (comma).. that puts a haf second break between the dialling pulse and allows the code to be interpreted.. so in your case, you might try 01,1890 I hope you understand the concept.. city and country codes have to be interprated before the modem gets connected to the other exchange
