This question got pulled, so up it goes again. That's the policy from now on.

Let me recap:
in 1994, a bunch of Soviet trained thugs (under the guise of 'freedom fighters') seized power. Their organization, the ANC, received aid and training from Cuba and the Soviet Union, and though their leader, the ridiculously named 'Madiba'. was never himself trained in the Soviet Union, many of its key players were - including the current President, the useless Thabo Mbeki, as well as the medical genius Tshabalala-Msimang.
Look it up.
Now, under their misrule and neglect, South Africa has deterioated into an apocalypse state of crime and sickness, as they hide behind the past and blame everything on the 'West' or on colonialism or apartheid.
AIDS is America's fault, because we're not doing enough to help out. The crime is the 'legacy of apartheid' and every fresh atrocity is happening because SA is an 'emerging democracy'.

This is what happens when inmates run an asylum.

london oval - thank you so much for responding with that politically correct bullsh*t. It stands as a testament to the correctness of my question.
Let's get one thing straight right now - no one is entitled to land by virtue of birth.

Because there were nomadic savages roaming the continent of Africa centuries ago, does not mean they owned the land. Neither do their descendants, anymore than the descendants of the nomadic savages that roamed North America own America today.
If white settlers had not showed up on the shores of Africa, the country would still be in tribal chaos, with superstition fueled cultures living a primitive life and at war with other superstition fueled cultures.
Oh wait, that's what's going on now.
The gold and diamonds would never have been discovered - never mind utilised - the cities would never have been built and historical innovations such as cars, computers and television would just be stories told by witchdoctors.

You're right about history going full circle, though - savagery back to savagery.

I grew up in 1990s South Africa. My parents were too ashamed to explain to me what apartheid was at the time and i didn't really notice that the school I went to was all white.

I didnt understand why everyone was watching a boring tv program of some black guy walking and waving for hours (mandela being freed I was later to find out the significance)

When I then took history lessons at school I learned of the previous injustices and understood they were wrong.

HOWEVER, I now live in the UK and my family in SA.
I can not help but feel saddened every time the little bits I get to hear about the beautiful country I grew up in point towards the bottomless pit that Rhodesia fell into to become Zimbabwe. What name is South Africa going to adopt.

I was horrified to hear through the grapevine that my father's buisness was held up at gunpoint with my father having an ak47 held up to his head. I know gun crime in the UK is not nonexistant however that would make front page news and TV headlines here!!!!!!!

I am not a racist person but I have watched something with so much potential demise into nothing better than a heroin addict junkie lying on the floor in his own $hit too spaced out to realise what is going on around him.

Could someone tell me how long it will be until South Africa's populace is completley wiped out because of HIV / Aids (Is Thabo still saying that they are not linked??) Long live the ANC in all their spaced oud heroin induced pool of $£**** that they lie in.

To me Politically Correct means treating others as you want to be treated. Being accountable for ones own actions and standing up for ones beliefs. All that still believe in our own Constitution should be making those in political office correct the mistakes govt has made. That would be the untimate in PC. I think this pc thing was a ruse created by the govt to pre occupy the minds of the people while it busily steals away more rights and freedoms. If the young treated each other in this country like the very old have for most of their lives there would be no need for pc. When the govt began this equal rights and special interest groups bs they imposed on us a bad situation. You cannot impose equality or force core values. If the feds spent 1/2 in ghetto areas that they waste on NASA we wouldn't have many of the examples used in racial slurs. If children were raised in stable homes by respectful parents they would know accountability. The govt has ruined the family unit as it used to be and knew then what we are seeing now would be the result. They wanted it that way because it only forces more people to want bigger govt. Correct the politics of anyplace and it will become politically correct on its own.

Agh, you know what - apartheid was morally wrong. How dare a smaller group of people impose such disgusting rules upon another much larger group of people.

The first were invaders in the first place - go back long enough and the Dutch came and took what they wanted. Is that not right?

Southern Africa was never meant to be occupied / resided in by anyone other than the peoples who were hunter gatherers. The Hottentot and Bushmen were the first there and they were annihilated by the Dutch then British and then the Africans moved downwards. As the Dutch and British moved upwards.

You tell me - did the white European settlers have the right to be there in the first place?

If they had stayed where they were and left Africa alone none of this would ever have happened in the first place.

Don't you tell me any one group has more right than another. Its all just greed. If diamonds and gold were not found in South Africa no one would have stayed where they are today. They would have kept moving north.

Grow up BradM. History is just coming around full circle - that's all.

Political corectness is nothing more than censure, and erosion of people's rights. A tatic of big brother government.

The Country is already knackered and all they talk about now is after 2010 or when Mandela dies but I love some of the ANC political correctness e.g squatter camps-informal settlements, witch doctors-traditional healers, emerging democracy-3rd World Communist State, SAPS - the Mafia,Rape-consensual sex,showering-cure for AIDS,theft-taking back what was yours,crime-poverty,Mother of the Nation-Winnie Mandela,Soaker-football,Employment Equity-get rid of Whites,BEE - steal White owned businesses, Procurement Policy-dont deal with White Companies, ANC-Xhosa Nostra, Commissioner of Police- Don Jackie Selebi,Native Club ( for African intellects)-a thicket, traditional medicine-cannabilism,previously disadvantaged-nouveau rich, traditional practice-animal slaughtering, baby rape, genital mutilation,apartheid-excuse for everything. Cant think of anymore but I will post when I come across them.
