In the new Carrie Underwood song she talks about her boyfriend cheating and how she is going to mess up his truck.

In case you don't know the song, it goes:

"I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4-wheel drive
Carved my name into his leather seats
Took a Louisville slugger to both headlights
Slashed a hole in all 4 tires
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats".

My God, is that not psycho?? Leave the poor guy's truck alone!

If anyone thinks it is justified, please explain.

YUP, TOTAL PSYCHO.

its funny, if a guy did that, he'd end up in jail in no time. on top of it, theres gonna be a bunch of femi-nazis out there that think thats perfectly acceptable behavior. now, i dont know any guy who'd honestly think that was ok to do. even if a guy did it, i think he'd know it was wrong, but there are women out there who'd think its totally ok. now, i'm not saying ALL women, but i bet everyone that answers this knows at least one girl who'd feel like thats a normal thing to do.

if a guy wrote that song, ppl would call him a chauvinist pig.

but, most ppl are smart enough to know its just a song. you cant say "she keyed my car because the country singer said its ok!" any more than "my kid is a screw up because he listened to marilyn manson" or any other stupid claims like that.

In my oh so humble opinion there are three things you should never mess with; someones kids, someones pets, or someones car. So yeah. The song is a wee bit psycho-esque. But be warned that ALL chicks have psychotic tendencies. We all fantasize about keying up an ex's car, or flattening his tires. It's the level at which we carry out these thoughts that truly make us psycho.
So while I would never do more than think about taking a bat to some headlights- that doesn't keep me from enjoying the song.

Well, I think it is justified. My example is this...I was married for two years when my husband did a complete turn around. He went from loving and supportive husband to a coke-selling fiend who was never home because he was warming some other girls bed. In my defense...I wasn't a lazy wife that didn't work...I worked full-time and I went to school full-time and I kept the house clean, had dinner on the table every night and didn't hold back in the bedroom...so why did he do this? He let drugs take over his life and becuase I didn't like or approve of them he found someone that did. If I wasn't a co-owner of his vehicle I may have done just that when I found out. But...thinking about it rationally, it's just childish. A lot of damage for a moments gratification. Not worth it. He promised me the world and then ripped it from underneath me...so would it be justified? Yes. Would I do it? Probably not. My revenge is living well. Having him want what he can't have because he messed everything up.

I wouldnt say psycho, but definitely not justified. You dont do it to the truck, you do it to him.

And if you do do it to the truck, dont carve your name. Remain anonymous.

Anyway, I LOVE this song. I think its great. And I love Carrie Underwood. And she even said that she would never do something like that.

Did anyone see Faith Hill's face when Carrie Underwood won last night? Faith had her hands up in the air right when they were announcing the name like "yep, its me" and then realized they said carrie, her face does this huge transformation and she screams WHAT? before running off....i liked Faith until then...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_P-aYADTkw

Sorry to get off track...my mind wanders.

I think it's a big crazy, but justified. Well, I would never do that, but some people get like that. Cheating is never good. NEVER, and no one should ever do it. But 2 wrongs don't make a right. My point is: It would sure make ya feel better if you did do it, right? But I wouldn't do it any way.

I guess I don't know what I am talking about! It's wrong to do period.... :)

without desirous to offend all of us right here, yet I easily have the sensation that Europeans are extra open minded and tolerate than human beings. no one right here calls all of us "hippie" or "punk" as an occasion, and particular, the variety of vegetarians and vegans will advance daily. Who cares approximately labels? i do no longer and nor would desire to you! and what's incorrect with people who get up and combat for animal rights? this would't be completed in silence, and if that throws a unfavorable shadow onto all people who do no longer % an animal on their plate, isn't it somewhat somewhat worth the reason? There are extra substantial and extra intense circumstances of daily harassment, discrimination and hate crimes being dedicated, that being categorized as " vegan freak" is a minor factor.

Yeah, I didn't know that was Carrie Underwood. She seemed like such a sweety, but who knew what psychopathic tendencies were lurking there!

On the other hand, I know how she feels. Only, my exgirlfriend didn't have a car, so I just wanted to kick her @ss.
