Really lame and a bad idea. Can't believe game manufacturers are so irresponsible.

Have you played this game? Many people just see the title and assume that it is going to be awful (that was my first reaction as well). However, after reading some reviews (now that the game is actually out), the game doesn't seem nearly as 'evil' as was first assumed.

Here is a quote from a review (source below):

"More importantly, actions have consequences: Stay out past curfew, and the screen blurs as you become sleepy and eventually pass out. If you're skipping class, you'll have a swarm of adults around you voicing their disapproval.

"There's even some incentive for attending the twice-a-day classes: Your character gets an enhanced ability to flirt with girls or recipes to make stink bombs and other prank devices.

"Ultimately, Hopkins faces bullies instead of becoming one as he negotiates a complex social hierarchy dominated by various cliques like greasers, jocks, nerds and preps."

My bottom line: if these games are able to influence you in real life, then you shouldn't play them. If, on the other hand, you realize that just because you can do something in a video game doesn't mean you can (or should) do it in real life, then you will be fine.
