Can we really make real bonafide friends on the internet?

Or is the internet actually isolating us from the real world and the the chance to be out there socialising with proper people, not netloons?

I know what I think, but what´s your experience?

I met a man on the internet chat rooms 8 years ago. I moved to London to be with him. We had only met twice before we moved in together. It lasted 2 months before he moved another woman he met on the internet in and I was forced to find somewhere else to live. I've now grown up a lot and now married. I found my husband under my computer not on it (he was fixing it at my office). We now have a 3 year old girl. I really truly believed that my internet relationship was real at the time but it obviously wasn't.

Yes, you can make real friends.

But you should not spend all your time on the internet or you will become a mouse potato.

The internet is a great way to meet someone, learn their personality, share common interests - heck, you can even talk and see each other.

Just like when you meet someone face-to-face, you also need to have other interests that you can share with your online friends.

You can make real friends on the internet, I have several I've met that way..;it's just another way of meeting people..;take it for what it is, not as the only method

Yes, you can meet people over the interenet but most people spend all their time here .....

u can try but it's never a shure thing ..best you go outside for real friends
