A romantic person is very spontaneous. They take the time to notice the "little things" that make you happy. They pay attention to detail. They do the simpliest thing as buying you your favorite candy bar because they know it will make you happy. They are spontaneous by doing something out of the ordinary when you least expect. Instead of going the same ol' restaurant, they dare to do something different by taking you somewhere else or cooking for you themselves. A romantic person isn't all about things. They understand how to be caring and how to spend quality time with you. Just sitting down to talk to you and watching a movie together means more than spending money to go out.
That's what romantic means to me.

A person is Romantic when they make someone's day by giving them that feeling of happy high, having good butterflies in the stomach, and making that person feel special. Romantic is relative because what may be romantic to one person may not be to another. It just depends on who you are trying to be romantic with.

Someone who does thoughtful things for the person they love, not because they have to, but because they want to. These things aren't always typical - like flowers, candy & cards. Sometimes they're more unique & special, like planning picnics, or scavenger hunts, or writing a poem - whatever the person enjoys most.

they're actions. after all they do say "actions speak louder than words".
-any little small, unexpected gestures. such as dabing with a namkin a spot of ketchup on my chin(god forbid) lol,
-opening and holding the door for your spouse to walk through
-the way they look into your eyes and whisper i love you. awww.soo sweet and romantic.

someone who goes out of their way to do the little things, like dishes, or the laundry. buys little things that they know the other person likes,gives up the remote on occasion... just cuddles & snuggles on a cold night & talks..
