I say they should earth war and then maybe some sort of animated series would be quite cool.

i actually think that the fourth film is really good i watch i all the time and as for miss weaver needing a break, the last film was nine years ago she's had enough of one.

I think they should re-approach the Alien series again definitely, I'm sure there are plenty of great stories left in this franchise that could be told.
Maybe they should do a separate trilogy, and maybe Ripley could turn up at the end of the first/ second one, leading into the third film for a colossal smack down?
The trilogy could be Three films
1. Alien film
2. Predator film
3. Alien vs Predator film
The first two film would run parallel to each other in time frame, then the third film would be the sequel to both, with an all out war between Aliens, Predators and Marines.
What do you all think of that?

well here's some faqs about Aliens (the movies)
when Ressurection came out, the idea was that they were trying to get back to earth at the end. But in a conversation, she finds out that earth is really messed up right now (wars or something).
well the idea that came up at the time for a seuqeul was "aliens vs predator" and the original story line, was that they would get back to earth witha unknown stowaway alien. one that they hadnt known about.
At the same time the predators would be on earth and the war between the two would start and in this story line Ripley would be part of the story.
then that changed.
I hear they still want to do Alien 5 but no story line yet released.

I think Ms Weaver deserves a break from the B*TCH. But I'd like to see what happened with the Alien / Predator hybred shown at the end of A vs P. That would be cool. Follow some of the story lines from Dark Horse comics.

I always thought it would be cool if the Alien(s) *did* get back to Earth on the Betty, and so we could have another installment of Ripley and others dealing with the threat to Earth.
I did think that might be what they were planning with "Alien versus Predator", but, although I rather enjoyed the film in many ways, they did rather much up the mythology. Shame, that.
I'd love to have Aliens on the London Underground ...

well out of all the alien movies Aliens was the best because of that directer directing that film was a very good one and the actors were good ones too
Alien 3 was not very good and Alien 4 was ok but not as good as Aliens because the Alien 3 and 4 directors were different and not as good as the Aliens director. So Alien 3 and 4 was not as good as Aliens
I do not know if another Alien movie is coming but unless Alien 5
is directed by the Aliens director or one has good or better i dont there should be. Alien 5 would not be as good as Aliens and would just be another ordanary or rubbish movie
A good examble is Terminater 3

For God sakes no there shouldn't be another Aliens movie. How many different ways can you say that these things are bad, reproduce quickly, have acid for blood and just generally kick our *** whenever we encounter them. The Aliens series needs put to rest and I am sorry but AVP was a disgrace to both the Predator and Alien movies. Alien beating Predator PLEASE! This is a specie of highly intelligent beings that thrives off hunting down other species.

I completely lost the plot during Alien Resurrection, I thought there was scope for Predators but Aliens v/s Predators wasn't quite what I wanted except for a female hero and the "what an ugly looking bleeping-bleeper!" line.

Depends on your definition of an Alien movie. If your definition is Ripley, then it's doubtful, if it's the Aliens themselves, then there's another AVP movie coming out soon...

I hope not and No. first two were great all the rest were completely stupid.
As far AVP goes however I think it would be good as long as it is set in the future with the spacemarines in the middle, as it should be!
