Are the clothes defective or inferior in any way?

well sometimes the clothes were damaged in shipping. or they sat on the shelf too long at the name brand stores. or the items were returned.

I dont know how and why they sell brand name clothes for cheap but i really dont care. Im just happy they do... I love those stores. And the clothes aren't fake its the same thing you would buy at a department store but the only diffence is that now you are saving money.

No, they're not defective. Those stores probably get a lot more business than the original stores, so they make just as much or more as the brand name stores.

These stores sell the same items as the others. One difference is. They sell the items that were not sold in the main stores and items that were returned. Returned items does not implicate anything wrong with them.

because when a store say american eagle doesnt sell stuff and they have no where to take they let ross cell so that other people can afford it
