If you have his name, you should be able to find him. First,do an internet search on the white pages of the phone book in the towns where you might guess him to be located. If that fails, try internet e-mail addresses nationally. If that fails, you might have to hire an investigator or place an ad in the paper where his family used to live asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact you by e-mail. One word of advice. Don't look for him if you expect him to open his arms to you. He may be married with kids and not want to tell them about you. He may not want to see or hear from you. There is only a small chance he will be happy to hear from you. So, you are risking your emotions here. God Bless you, and good luck.

This is such a difficult situation and I understand your need to find your biological father, however please remember that he was the one who chose not to bother with you as a child and the odds are that he probably still doesn't want to know. I am sure the not knowing is dreadful but I am sure if you found him and he didn't want to know you it would be far worse. Anyway if you are insistent of doing this I think the Salvation Army may be able to assist you. Does your mother have any details about any member of his family which may be able to help you in your search. I wish you luck and do hope that you find exactly what you are searching for, please be wary.

Go to the nearest bureau of records, it may go by different names in different States or cities. You have the name now bring a big book and pencil with you. You'll have to look up all names concerned with him and the addresses.
You'll have to track down the addresses and go or call each one. I'd call and make sure you talk to him only if you do find him. He may not want to speak with you, you'll have to put this in your mind, that he's not ready for a child, grown up. He may have a family he doesn't want you to know about or vice-versa.
This happen to my sister, his daughter wanted all the back child support she had coming. The mother wanted all alimony, etc. It broke up the marriage.
Good luck and don't let this break your heart.

Why do you want to find him? What good could come of it? He isn't the one who raised and loved you--all he did was donate sperm.
