The trick is that you can do the same thing to both sides of an equation:
1. Divide both sides by W: L = A/W
2. Subtract 32 and multiply by 5/9: C = (F - 32) * 5 / 9
3. Multiply both sides by 2 and divide by b: h = 2A/b

It's simple algebra.
1. A = LW ==> L = A/W, by dividing both sides by W
2. (9/5)C + 32 = F ==> C = (5/9)(F - 32), by subtracting 32 form both sides and multiplying both sides by 5/9
3. A = (1/2)bh ==> h = 2A/b, by multiplying both sides by 2 and dividing both sides by b

a million. a = F/m 2. r = v/S 3. v = m/D it somewhat is basic... you could draw a triangle like this: --- v --- S --- r and you will see that: S=v/r, v=Sr, r=v/s or, worst case state of affairs, only put in some random numbers, and verify out to discern the formulation like 2=6/3, you will see that 3=6/2, 6=3*2, etc... desire this enables :)
