When I was a kid, the home we stayed in seemed okay, but inexplicable things would happen. When I would play alone in my room, I would hear someone whisper my name from the other side of the room, but no one was there. This happened a number of times. It would always make me petrified. Another time when I alone in my room, a penny fell on my head. I still can't explain that one. Also, whenever I would take a shower I always felt the weight of someone's stare, but of course no one was there - very strange.

I work in a catholic nursing home, it was about 10:30 pm, when one of the sisters put out the candles in the facilitys chapel. The afternoon shift was getting ready to Punch out and we had to walk past the chapel to get to the time clock and every candle was burning. Alot of our resident see images in the mirrors and we have a certain spirit that likes to turn the lights off in the same room. A coworker Had a privacy curtain pulled and thought that another employee shoved him and when he turned to yell at him, no one was there. Also when the end is near for any of our residents, you can smell lillys and a few have claimed to see a figure dressed in black. I do believe our facility has lost spirits.

I guess the question is which one? The most unusual one was when a bunch of women started "talking" to me all at once in a language that I had never heard. They kept saying the name of a friend so I e-mailed the friend with the descriptions of the women and phonetically spelled the words. Turned out she knew who they all were and what language they were speaking. I've had lots of experiences in this area, so e-mail me if you are looking for something else.

When I was young I saw my mother's first child, who had died of leukemia, walk across the room. I looked away quickly looking to see if anyone else was there to tell and when I looked back she was gone. Figment of child's imagination or was it real? That memory is still so very real to me.
